Mayuri attended The College of New Jersey and is currently a first year medical student at NJMS. She is interested in working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities in the future. In her free time, she likes reading, knitting, baking, and listening to music and podcasts!
A PM&R resident at JFK-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute
Jessica Ace is a third year physical medicine and rehabilitation resident at JFK-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, NJ. She will be applying to pediatric rehabilitation fellowships next year and looks forward to a career dedicated to alleviating pediatric disability. When she’s not at the hospital, Jessica enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, making DIY projects, and cuddling her cat, Frankie.
Presentation at StevensTHON to Aspiring Pre-Medical Students
The Stevens Pre-Health Medical Honor Society Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) and StevensTHON together invited Dr. Shoval to present to aspiring pre-medical students.
Dr. Shoval is Board Certified in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
Following the succesfull completion of a 2 year fellowship at New York-Presbytarian Hospital, in conjunction with Columbia University Medical Center and Blythedale Children’s hospital, Dr. Shoval received board certification in the subspecialty of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.
Research that Dr. Shoval’s did as a resident on children with Cerebral Palsy was presented at the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine Annual Meeting.
