Dr. Shoval Completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
Dr. Shoval completed a two year clinical fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at New York-Presbytarian Hospital, in combination with Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Shoval Completed a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine
After completing her internship year in Internal Medicine, Dr. Shoval completed a further three year residency in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at New York-Presbytarian Hospital, in combination with Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical College.
Congratulations to Team NYP for winning the coveted 2015 Resident Rehab Bowl Championship, an annual competition sponsored by the New York Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for residents from hospitals in the New York metropolitan area. Questions were based on the third edition of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review by Sara J. Cuccurullo, MD. In addition, Team NYP took home the Spirit Award for the second year in a row.
Dr. Shoval was the inaugural fellow for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s accredited Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship
After finishing her residency training in Physiatry at the joint program with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Shoval continued at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, becoming the first fellow in the newly accredited program.
Volunteered at the NYC Ballet Workshop, providing an accessible dance experience
The Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center hosts a series of workshops for teenagers and adults with movement disorders and disabilities. In conjunction with New York City Ballet, it guides particpants through accessible choreography inspired by New York City Ballet performances.
